Communications Minister Stephen Conroy continues to crash through with plans to introduce mandatory internet filtering for all Australians, including adults, to solve a perceived problem with children’s net access. Even as the largest ISP in his ‘trial’ of filtering pulls out because the scheme is commercially untenable, and dozens of IT experts tell him it is technically unworkable, he persists.
