CLA’s 2020 Annual General Meeting (AGM)
In accordance with CLA’s Constitution, the 2020 electronic annual general meeting or eAGM of Civil Liberties Australia Inc will be held during February and March 2020.
The eAGM will consider any major notices of motion and, as required by regulation and voting on the annual reports of CLA.
Declaration of CLA’s 2019 Annual General Meeting and comments
More than half the Members eligible to vote took part in the Annual General Meeting, held in March 2019, of Civil Liberties Australia. CLA holds its AGM electronically and by post so that Members scattered throughout Australia can participate. Many Members also commented on how the organisation is operating – their comments are included with the formal Declaration of the AGM process.
CLA eAGM 2019 – Board Nomination Form
Members are advised that nominations have been called for the vacancies on the Board of Directors relating to this year’s eAGM. Elections for the Board are conducted every two years. A guide to duties/time/effort required of Board Members is available to assist in any consideration to stand.
