It is annual report time and the Commonwealth Ombudsman declares that the vast marjority of complaints against the AFP are unsubstantiated.
What a joke.
The citizens should know that the Ombudsman’s office does not actually investigate those complaints – police do.
The states have finally come, kicking and screaming, to the ineexorable realisation that police policing themselves does not work and never will.
When will the Commonwealth insitute a standing commission for the AFP?
